Privacy Policy

Starlet is a personal AI assistant published by PT Harmonica Inovasi Bersama. This policy explains, plainly and honestly, what data it handles and why.

Starlet only responds to a small, pre-approved list of phone numbers. There is no public sign-up, and your data is never sold, rented, used for advertising, or used to train AI models.

What is collected

The messages you send to the Starlet WhatsApp number — their text is used to understand and respond to your request.
Your WhatsApp phone number — used only to check whether you are on the allow-list of permitted users. It is stored only as a salted cryptographic hash; the raw number is not kept in the project's code or configuration.

How your data is processed, and by whom

To provide the service, your data passes through a few third-party providers:

WhatsApp (Meta) — delivers and transmits your messages between you and Starlet.
Google Cloud (Vertex AI, Gemini) — the text of your messages is sent to Google's Vertex AI to generate Starlet's reply. Starlet also runs on Google Cloud infrastructure.

Each provider handles your data under its own privacy terms, only to the extent needed to provide its part of the service.

Why it is processed

Solely to operate a personal AI assistant: to understand your message and generate a reply. There is no other purpose.

Retention & sharing

Message text is kept only as long as needed to answer your request.
Data is not sold, rented, shared for advertising, or used for model training by Starlet — it is shared only with the providers listed above to make the service work.

Security

Credentials and keys are kept in a managed secrets vault (Google Secret Manager), never in the project's source code.
Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
Starlet only responds to the pre-approved allow-list; messages from anyone else are ignored.

Your rights

You can ask what data is held about you, or ask for it to be deleted, at any time. Email admin@starlet.support and the request will be honored.

This policy may be updated as Starlet evolves. The date below reflects the current version.
